Cape Wine Routes
The Cape Winelands stretches from the coast to the plains of the Little Karoo. There are currently 560 wineries and 4400 primary producers of vineyards in the Cape Winelands. The Winelands are divided up into 4 main regions: Breede River Valley, Little Karoo, Coastal and Olifants River.
Franschhoek – Huguenot Memorial Museum
The Huguenot Monument and Museum was erected in 1938 to commemorate the French Huguenots who arrived in South Africa in 1688. The museum shows the rich heritage and history of these people as well as the development of the Franschhoek Valley.
Paarl – Afrikaans Language Monument
This monument is dedicated to the Afrikaans Language and stands proudly on Paarl Rock overlooking this picturesque town. The monument is shaped in several tall obelisks style columns and can be seen as you approach Paarl.

This museum is located close to Stellenbosch and is South Africa’s largest collection of classic and vintage automobiles. |
